This is a brand new design from The Wild Jewellery. The small unfurling fern frond is curling to the right and hangs on a small loop. The necklace is available in either a bright polished silver, or a lightly oxidised silver or bronze.
Each frond hangs on a 50cm chain. The silver necklace feature a silver sprung parrot style clasp on solid sterling silver chain, while the bronze necklace hangs on an antiqued brass chain with a sturdy hook and eye clasp.
The Wild Jewellery is the joint creative venture of Annie Collins and Vaune Mason. After many years of working side by side in the jewellery studio, these two artists decided to make things official and create work that was a fusion of their styles and interests. The Wild focuses on endangered or extinct animals, and precious natural resources of Aotearoa New Zealand. Their jewellery is crafted in solid sterling silver or warm bronze, with rich textures and stylish designs. Accents of native timbers, bone and stone are added to individual pieces.
